Hello! A little about me... My name is Amanda and I have had the privilege of teaching over 310 mothers the beautiful childbirth method that is HypnoBirthing. I am currently a Certified HypnoBirthing Educator, Certified HypnoBirthing Doula, Certified Professional Doula, Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Lactation Educator/Consultant and Basic Life Support Instructor. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from California State University, Channel Islands.
My passion is birth. I LOVE teaching families how to have a fear free, informed and positive birth experience. That is my goal with every class I teach.
After working with with over 120 mothers in 8 years with no end in sight, Birth is my life, and it will be great.
When I am not teaching or working as a doula, I love to spend time with my family. I have been married to my husband for 14 years and have two children, one in elementary school one in middle school. We love to take walks and I love to craft and watch TV (Friends in particular). Fun facts: we were featured on an episode of House Hunters on HGTV, I am a kidney donor and proud vegan of 7 years/ vegetarian of 20 years.
Thank you for taking time to visit my website! I hope to see you in one of my HypnoBirthing class series or as a birth doula client.

My name is Kamilah Worlds and I am a Denver native born into this world as a Rainbow Baby, which has defined many aspects of my life. In addition to being a Full Spectrum Doula specializing in Postpartum Care with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education, I am an early interventionist working with special needs children from ages 18 months to 9 years old, a partner since 2005, a parent to two beautiful children ages 15 and 9, and was a Preschool Educator possessing 20+ years of experience. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Applied Human Sciences from Colorado State University along with a Colorado Teaching Credential. I decided to expand upon my passion for education and wanting to support others through life experiences, so I began training to become a Certified Doula across the spectrum of life. My mission is to provide non-medical services to individuals by empowering, educating, and encouraging them through a pivotal transition into a family.
In recent years more and more information has been widely publicized and discussed about the mortality rate of birthing mothers or the lack of information shared with expecting mothers due to the strain on our healthcare systems. Doulas not only support the beginning stages of life but also support and educate throughout the transitions of life such as birth, postpartum, fertility/IVF, cancer/terminal illness, adoption/surrogacy, divorce, and end of life. As a Certified Professional Doula, I look forward to fulfilling my passion while supporting pregnant mothers as they prepare for their birthing experience, assisting the healthcare staff as needed within a Doulas scope of practice, and supporting the mother/ baby dyad, along with familial support persons during the postpartum period. This particular time hasKamilah Worlds been known to be a time of stress leading to depression and anxiety. In addition to supporting mom & baby, I also support those experiencing any stages of life listed above that require a caregiver's hand, patience, and non-judgment. The role of a Doula is one that I have been fulfilling for many years but hadn't realized until I put my passions into perspective and took action. I have assisted with caring for family members through their journeys of pregnancy, birth, postpartum care, breast cancer treatments, and more recently end of life.
Accompanying individuals on any of life’s journey is an honor and doing so professionally allows me to improve the lives of others. My strengths are critical thinking, commitment to quality of care, and being an informative resource to those I serve. I tend to be reserved and prefer individual or small-group interactions, which allows me to personalize my interactions and tailor care specifically to fit the needs of each of my clients. My strengths aid me in being a good listener and assessor of people's needs while maintaining an open mind to diverse situations.
I look forward to accompanying you on life’s journey!
